Head Coach Pope John Girls Varsity Lacrosse

Chelsea was three-sport athlete at Kittatinny High School playing Lacrosse, Basketball, and was a member of the cross country team. Chelsea won numerous awards including Athlete of the Month, All-League and Most Valuable Player honors, and served as Class President all while  achieiving academic Honor Roll

Chelsea went on to compete at Centenary University where at the conclusion of the 2012 season was a recipient of the prestigious Cardy Gemma Award.

The Cardy Gemma award is given to one male and one female recipient that have completed their athletic eligibility and have competed at Centenary for at least two years. This student athlete must have demonstrated the highest level of athletic achievement and leadership over the course of their career at Centenary as well as academic success and community service.

Chelsea received this illustrious honor after a tremendous career with the Cyclones. During her time at Centenary, she was a member of both the women's cross country and women's lacrosse team for all four years. As the cross country team's faster runner for all four years, she was named team MVP in each of them and was named to First Team All-Conference after finishing seventh in the 2008 CSAC Championship Race. Chelsea also used her speed on the lacrosse field as the team's fastest defender for four years.

Off the field, she has shown tremendous leadership and academic prowess as she was named to the CSAC All-Academic Team for both sports in each of the four years as well as a FAR/FAB Scholar Athlete in 2009 and 2011. She has also been a member of the Council for Student Athletes (CSA) for three years, serving as the CSA President in 2011/2012.  She also participated in numerous community service organizations including the 2011 New Orleans Disaster Relief Trip, Community Plunge, Polar Bear Plunge, Special Olympics, Toys for Tots, and Prominence Speaks for Autism as well as many more.
